CyberFirst is changing to TechFirst
TechFirst is the UK government’s flagship tech skills programme, opening pathways into the fast-growing tech sector. It builds on the success of CyberFirst and aims to broaden access to a wider range of digital and technology opportunities.
TechFirst helps young people build tech skills, gain confidence with technology including AI, and explore future careers.
In Northern Ireland, TechFirst works with schools, colleges, employers, academia and local organisations to bring opportunities to life. The programme encourages participation from groups currently underrepresented in the technology sector, including girls and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Get Involved
1. Register Your School or College
Become a recognised TechFirst School or College, gaining NCSC accreditation and unlocking opportunities to engage with local and national companies. Register your interest here
2. Register Your Company as an Industry Supporter
Help inspire future cyber security experts and address industry skill gaps by becoming an Industry Supporter. Showcase your brand, open up cyber security to a broader audience, and contribute to a diverse, supportive industry.
3. Become a techfirst First Ambassador
If you have a background in cyber security or related fields, become a TechFirst Ambassador. Play a pivotal role in fostering skills among students and contribute to the growth of the cyber security field.
